We have taken the lead in projects and markets involving products and services for consumers throughout the Americas. We assist other companies in meeting their upstream supply needs, and successfully move their products to market through innovative midstream transportation solutions. Downstream, we finance/support intelligent mergers, smooth the entry of new products into new markets and participate in a wide range of real estate projects.

With extensive knowledge and expertise in specialty chemicals we have expanded our chemicals business and developed businesses in consumer products such as cosmetics and personal care and the animal health and pet care industry.  Using our global network and chemical savvy, our subsidiaries, Presperse and Cosmotec, are developing business beyond their borders and bringing new functional ingredients to sun care, color cosmetics, skin care, and hair care applications.

We have almost 30 years of real estate investment and development experience in the U.S.  We maintain a diverse portfolio of investments in commercial office buildings, single family homes, multi-family communities and master-planned developments.  

We have acquired and sold commercial office buildings in cities including New York, Washington, D.C., Honolulu, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Tempe.

We have constructed or purchased residential apartment complexes in cities in Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Arizona, and D.C. Over the past three decades, we have developed two master-planned communities in Atlanta and are working on a third, Towne Lake, in Houston.  In addition to residential homes, developments include recreation facilities, retail shopping centers, schools, and restaurants. 

Additionally, we have developed single-family homes with various partners in the south east, south central and south west regions of the U.S.

In the growing pet care segment of the U.S. marketplace, we, along with our partner Unicharm, are managing one of the oldest pet care brands in the industry: Hartz Mountain Corporation. With our support, Hartz® has increased its leadership position in the market, and is the number one brand of retail flea & tick treatments in the country. In addition, Hartz® is the leading brand of dog toys, puppy training pads, natural treats, pet shampoos, and bird and small animal diets.
